My dad throws up a gang sign at La Chappelle. True story: he almost got arrested at said cathedral for carrying a knife. Also true story: he's planning on smuggling enormous quantities of "mustard" into the states. Customs, you have been warned.
Spring arrived in full force this week. yes.
The footwear of fashion is like this: young hipster wear Chuck's lowcuts (holla, Keith!). Women wear ballet-slippers-type-deals, just like in NYC.
Paris isn't really all that fashionable. Its not "tasteful" to wear conservative black clothes all the time. There's a lot of black leather jackets. There isn't much creative dressing outside the Marais.
When I told people about moving to Paris, 3 or more people told me: "great, you'll finally figure out how to dress." Well, let's say this: I'm as poor a student of French fashion as I am of French philosophy. My brain is a walnut.
Song of the day: Panda Bear - Ponytail. Its funny what the parents like. Dad loves this song; Mom likes Burial.
